Earlier this week Larry Ploscik, who has served our parish for the past 3 years as our maintenance person informed me of his decision to retire at the end of the month. Larry has served our parish so well and so faithfully through KPM, the company that provides us with our maintenance services. Larry, a graduate of St. Vincent de Paul school himself, has served our parish for these past 3 years with dedication and commitment. The service that he has pro- vided to our parish is invaluable. I have truly enjoyed working with him and getting to know him. Please join me in thanking Larry for all that he has done for our parish and wishing him well in his retirement! Larry don’t be a stranger around here!
One of the benefits of our maintenance contract with KPM is that a “successor” to Larry is automatically provided. There’s no need for an application process, or any interviews, or trying to decide who to hire. KPM will be assigning us a new person, his name is John (I don’t think I’ll have much difficulty remembering it). John will be shadowing and work- ing with Larry the week of July 26th and then will start on his own in August when Larry formally retires. Let’s welcome John with the welcoming attitude that is a great characteristic of our parish family.
