This coming weekend, October 31st - November 1st, the Universal Church celebrates the Solemnity of All Saints. Because this great feast falls on a Sunday, there will be NO CHANGE to the Mass Schedule this weekend. Masses will be held on Saturday, October 31st at 5:00 PM, and on Sunday, November 1st at 9:00 AM.
God, through baptism, has given us the gift of His Spirit to be faithful and loving disciples. May God bless our pastor, Rev. John M. Pfeifer; Senior Parochial Vicar, Rev. Clyde K. Foster; Rev. James T. Klein and all priests throughout the universal Church who give of themselves for Christ’s people.
The Mass Intention Book of 2021 for St. Vincent de Paul Parish will open on Monday, October 26th. There are a couple guidelines to follow, and we kindly ask that you read them. Thank You!
November is a special month in the Church's liturgical calendar. It is the month in which we, in a special way, remember all those who have gone before us in faith. It is the month of All Souls. Here at St. Vincent de Paul Parish, we will remember all those who have died from our parish in the past year with a special Mass on Monday, November 2nd at 7:00 PM, the Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed. We invite you to join us.
Fr. John will offer a special blessing to all animals on Saturday, October 3rd, at 1:00 PM in the East Parking Lot. We ask everyone attending to help maintain social distancing. This blessing of animals relates to the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals, whose feast day is October 4th.
